Sally Capper

Sally is a registered psychologist, member of the Australian Psychological Society and has completed a Masters in Counselling Psychology. Sally has a caring, compassionate and empathic approach to psychology and has worked with adults and adolescents (15+) for over 20 years in a range of sectors including forensic, child and family services and mental health.

Sally is passionate about supporting individuals to overcome challenges, process trauma, and enhance their overall well-being. She takes a client-centered approach, fostering a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to grow and create meaningful change in their lives.

Specializing in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Sally integrates Attachment-Informed (AI) EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) AI EMDR into her practice. She also draws on additional therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

Outside of her professional work, Sally is a busy mother of two, striving to raise emotionally and socially aware children alongside her fur baby. When not with clients, you’ll likely find Sally on the netball court, doing Pilates, or walking her dog while enjoying the latest podcasts.
